Our Practice Areas
Cybersecurity Services
Our cybersecurity practice focuses on advising businesses on legal and governance risks arising from cybersecurity and technology operations. We provide measured, business‑oriented legal guidance on incident preparedness and response, cybersecurity‑related regulatory considerations, and the allocation of risk in technology and commercial arrangements.
Rather than implementing or operating security programs, we work alongside clients and their internal teams to help translate technical realities into clear legal insight. Our goal is to support informed decision‑making by helping businesses understand their legal exposure, obligations, and options when cybersecurity issues arise.
Technology Contract Support
Our technology contracts practice focuses on advising businesses on the legal and risk implications of technology‑related commercial relationships. We assist clients in structuring, reviewing, and negotiating technology and service agreements with an emphasis on risk allocation, clarity of obligations, and alignment with broader business objectives.
We regularly advise on matters involving software agreements, vendor and service provider arrangements, and other technology‑enabled contracts where operational, data‑related, and regulatory considerations are intertwined. Our role is to help clients understand how contractual terms affect exposure, governance, and long‑term flexibility, and to support informed decision‑making in complex commercial environments.
Data Privacy Services
Our data privacy practice focuses on advising businesses on legal risk arising from the collection, use, and governance of data. We help clients understand and navigate data protection obligations under U.S. privacy laws and related regulatory frameworks, providing clear legal guidance that reflects real‑world business operations.
We advise on matters such as privacy policy disclosures, data governance considerations, incident and breach response from a legal perspective, and the assessment of privacy‑related risk in business and technology decisions. Our role is not to implement compliance programs, but to support informed decision‑making by aligning legal requirements with how organizations actually handle data.
I’ve used De’Von Carter as my attorney for several critical contact reviews and to provide legal advice on potential deals. He’s always been quick to provide excellent consultations and provides them in a way that is very helpful.
